About Mimi’s Cafe

Founded in 1978 by Arthur Simms, who was stationed in France during World War II, Mimi’s Cafe is a neighborhood cafe offering French Inspired American comfort food. In February 2013 Mimi’s Cafe was purchased by Le Duff America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of Groupe Le Duff, a global bakery and restaurant company headquartered in Rennes, France. Since then, the team has launched new dishes reflecting the culinary traditions of fresh ingredients, bistro classics, and American comfort food. There are currently 97 Mimi’s Cafe locations throughout 18 states in the U.S.

New Salads at La Madeleine

With its new menu offerings, la Madeleine Country French Café is bringing flavors of the French countryside to its units this summer, said Susan Dederen, vice president of culinary for la Madeleine.

“From leisurely strolls amid open  air markets to harvesting the freshest produce available for meals with friends and family, the experience and tastes of the French countryside is not to be missed at our cafés this summer,” she said.

New options include:

  • NEW Cranberry & Pecan Wild Field Salad - Sweet dried cranberries, toasted pecans and field greens tossed in balsamic vinaigrette.
  • NEW Chicken, Bacon & Bleu - Crisp bacon, grape tomatoes, bleu cheese crumbles and field greens tossed in a creamy sun-dried tomato dressing with balsamic marinated chicken.
  • NEW Bacon & Berry Salad - For a Limited Time - Fresh blueberries and strawberries with mandarin oranges, roasted almonds, and smoky bacon served on field greens tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette. Served with their signature Lemon Madeleine.
  • NEW Roasted Vegetable, Chicken & Goat Cheese - Pesto roasted zucchini, red bell peppers, button mushrooms, grape tomatoes and field greens tossed in a garlic pesto dressing with a goat cheese spread and balsamic marinated chicken.
